Hi-Tech Manufacturing is a World Class ISO 9001:2008 certified precision job shop located in Schiller Park, Illinois. Hi-Tech Manufacturing has been in business for over 25 years. We specialize in products for the Energy, Medical, Scientific Laboratory, and Industrial markets.
We are looking for an Experienced Manufacturing Sales Leader to fill a key position within our organization.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop $3MM to $5MM of new business over 18 first month period
- Identify the needs of industry customers and potential customers and create effective solutions based on core services to achieve revenue goals
- Lead the business capture effort via identification/building of new relationships
- Clearly communicate to the internal management team building to a successful sale
- Develop and support marketing services and directly support the site VP/GM to provide world-class customer service
- Manage all activities within specified accounts including all direct selling efforts to end user plants and engineering offices to meet or exceed yearly established targets in units, revenue, and gross profit
- Experience in a senior level client facing role, along with account management within large OEMs
- A thought leader with a proven sustained track record of successful sales leadership with experience closing deals that are complex
- Persistent and tenacious - a sense of urgency and impatience with the status quo
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into professional sales presentations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at all levels of client and company management

- Initiate and establish direction and content of quotations by providing complete scope of work from customer
- Provide pricing direction, and review quotation prior to submittal.
- Review proposals with customer for a clear and thorough understanding of content and competitive advantages, and negotiate to a successful sale maximizing profitability
- Interface with company resources and customer on sold projects to assure complete understanding of deliverable
- Participate in kickoff and status meetings as required to assure smooth project execution and complete customer satisfaction. Assist with pricing and quotations as required
- Act as main interface for customer to assist with issues such as delivery information, quotes/delivery, service issues, product problems, etc.
- Previously proven selling and negotiating skills
- Thorough understanding of machining business (i.e. blueprints, specifications, capabilities, lead times, pricing, etc.)
